We will be visiting the resorts on Thanksgiving day and Downtown Disney on The Friday after. I would love to suprise my family by having a place to see the fireworks. Any suggestions? What time do they usurally have them in the fall?

Last year, Wishes was shown at 9 p.m. on the evening of Thanksgiving and the following evening as well. Around the first of May, the official calendar should be released for November 2008.

For viewing the fireworks, I would park at the Transportation and Ticket Center then journey via resort monorail to the Polynesian or Grand Floridian resort. In order to park at the TTC, you will need to pay for Magic Kingdom parking. To save money, you could take a bus from Downtown Disney to one of the above resorts. However, I think arriving via monorail is much more fun.

At the Polynesian, you can watch the Wishes fireworks display from the sandy beach areas. There are hammocks and lounge chairs on the beach.

At the Grand Floridian, wonderful viewing is found from the boat dock or you could sit at an outdoor table by Gasparilla Grill.
