Visiting relatives in CA in Jan and of course have to go to Disneyland too! Was planning to do the Tink 1/2 while we are there (my first 1/2). What do u think the race will do to the crowds that weekend? Want kids to still have a good time in the parks..

The whole family will have such a wonderful time at the Disneyland Resort. WIth all the new openings, including the brand new Cars Land, it will be a great time to make magical memories at the Happiest Place on Earth. I actually was at the parks for the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend supporting one of the runDisney mom's panelists. The parks looked great and the crowds were really manageable. I would suggest that you start a bit earlier. The parks are usually wide open in the mornings. You and the family will have a great time looking at all the great attractions, entertainment and great food. I would totally take a ride on the timeless classic that is the Jungle Cruise. It's a personal favorite. Also, you must eat a churro and a Dole Whip. These makes the experience simply magical. Have a great trip and I will see you at the parks.
