We are visiting the parks this year and my son is two, but do to a medical issue he is big for his age. Will I need to bring proof of his age?

    Hello Sky,
Thanks for coming to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm the Mama of several much taller than average kiddos myself, so I can understand you feeling a bit nervous about your son being big for his age. Thankfully the Cast Members on duty will take your word for it when you tell them he's only two years old, so don't worry one single bit about that! He will not require a ticket for admission. No proof of age is necessary.

One of the big advantages of having a tall kiddo is that they meet all the height requirements for some of the more daring attractions much earlier than their peers! My younger son was able to ride Space Mountain just before his 4th birthday because he was so tall. I'm sure your kiddo is a bit young for these attractions at this time but it's something you can look forward to in future visits. If you would like to ride some of the more thrilling attractions, please be aware of the Rider Switch service that is available at no charge.

Sky, I hope you and your family have a fantastic vacation! Please come back and see us if you have any additional questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
