Hello! We’ll be visiting the parks at the end of September with our 3 children (12, 10, & 6) and are staying in a Disney Resort! I am on the fence about bringing a stroller for my 6 year old. Any thoughts and recommendations?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Debbie! Thank you for bringing us your question about strollers to use while at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I think strollers are great to have. I know that you might feel they slow you down as you board or get off buses or just moving around theme parks; however, you will find your stroller to be of great help when walking towards a specific attraction to make a FastPass+ or when headed over to a dining reservation. There is a lot of walking to do at the theme parks and children do get tired OR may need to rest a bit to re-energize for the second half of the day. If you are flying to Orlando and bringing your stroller with you becomes a pain or an extra expense, I recommend renting one either at the theme parks or from a Disney featured provider. I hope this information has been helpful, Debbie. I wish you and your family a pixie-dusted vacation. Please come visit us again with more and more questions!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
