We’ll be visiting the parks between Christmas and New Years and we’re hoping Moana would be available for meet and greet. Any chance Moana will be back at WDW for the holidays?!

    Hi Jamie ~

Your trip is literally hours away and I know you're too excited to sleep! Moana was recently appearing during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party evenings which have now ended for the 2017 season. Other than that, she isn't currently appearing for meet and greets anywhere else at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Having said that, Disney is always keeping us on our toes so I would suggest keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements regarding if and when Moana will return. She is super popular so I know that a lot of Guests would love to see her added to the characters that regularly appear for meet and greets at the theme parks or a character dining location.

You can see Moana in Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. She appears on the big boat with the parade of characters during the grand finale.

There is a segment that includes Moana in Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom. Make sure you're on the front side of Cinderella Castle to be able to see the projections shown on the castle.

There is a Moana inspired Christmas tree at the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail which runs through January 7, 2018.

If you're looking for Moana souvenEARs, head to Moana Mercantile located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The whole resort is filled with the spirit of the South Pacific so you feel close to Moana.

Please feel free to visit again with all of your planning questions. We're hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
