Visiting Orlando area this summer and will be eating at Chef Mickeys for the first time. We will not be going to the parks unfortunately. Can I park at the Contemporary or do I have to pay to park at the TTC?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, David!

No trip to Walt Disney World Resort is complete without saying 'hiya pal' to "the big cheese" himself. Am I right? I'm so glad you have made arrangements to dine with Mickey and his friends on the fourth floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort this summer. I have always enjoyed watching the iconic monorails glide overhead as I dine at Chef Mickey's. I'm sure you'll love it!

Assuming you have reservations to dine at Chef Mickey's, you will not be charged to park at Disney's Contemporary Resort during your meal. When you pull into the hotel parking lot, the parking attendant will check your name against the reservation list for Chef Mickey's. When he sees that you have a reservation to dine with Mickey and friends, he will wave you on into the parking lot. From there, you just take an elevator or series of escalators up to the Grand Canyon Concourse. That's where you'll find Chef Mickey's.

Be sure to bring your camera and an autograph book, if you like.

    Wishing you a magical time,
