    Courtney from WA Asked

Hello! We are visiting October 12th, and have purchased a package with tickets already. I've decided we should just go for annual passes. If I buy them today, or anytime before we go, is that when the expiration starts ticking?

    Hi Courtney!
Greetings from Sunny Southern California where the Disneyland Resort is always happy to greet Annual Passholders!
I'm really excited that you're thinking of upgrading your tickets to Annual Passports. I personally think it's a great investment, especially if you are a Disney fans who can't get enough of the Happiest Place on Earth (like many of us).
There are some amazing perks to having an Annual Passport, including discounts on food and merchandise, special discounts on certain events throughout the years and my favorite-- the Disney Annual Passport Days better known as "AP Days".... sooo much fun!
If you purchase your Annual Passports today, they will not be activated until you visit the Parks. This basically means their expiration date will occur one year after their first use!
Isn't that awesome? You don't have to worry about buying them closer to your travel dates just to save time on their length of validity!
I hope this answers your question.
    Wishing you a Magical time...
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
