We will be visiting in October with grandsons 9 & 10...With fast pass+ it says you can pick parade seating...what exactly does that mean and where can you choose from at Magic Kingdom

    Hi Connie!

How fabulous to be bringing your grandsons for an unforgettable vacation.  Be sure to take lots of photos to commemorate your special time with the boys!  You might even consider purchasing Memory Maker to help capture your magical moments.  Click on the previous link to read all about it and to save money by purchasing it ahead of time.

The parade in the Magic Kingdom that has FastPass+ availability is the brand new Festival of Fantasy Parade.  Choosing a FastPass+ for this parade gives you access to a special roped off viewing area that is currently in front of Cinderella Castle.  If you love viewing parades from choice locations, but do not like staking out a spot for an hour or more ahead of time, then selecting FastPass+ for this parade would be a good choice for you.  Only Guests who have a FastPass+ for the Festival of Fantasy Parade will have access to the special viewing area, but all Guests may view the parade anywhere else along the parade route.

Want a little parade viewing tip?  If you do not choose FastPass+ for the Festival of Fantasy Parade and are looking to find a good viewing location on your own, try watching it in Frontierland.  I have found that Frontierland is usually the last area along the parade route to fill up with onlookers.  My favorite spot is in front of Pecos Bill restaurant.

I hope this helps you in making your FastPass+ selections Connie.  If you have any further questions, please come back and ask them here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help!
