We will be visiting in Oct and planning on using the park hopper option. How much time should we allocate for the "hopping" part? Also, how does the limit on reservations for the FastPass work? Is it 3 per park or per ticket?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Jen ~

Your trip will be here before you know it and I bet you're too excited to sleep already! I love park hopping! It is fun to experience your favorite attractions in one theme park and hopping over to another to do your favorites there. I usually allow at least an hour to park hop. If I am trying to make it over to another park for a dining reservation, I usually allow at least 1 1/2 hours to travel to the other park, go through security, and walk to the restaurant from the entrance of that theme park.

The Walt Disney World Resort now offers an Express Transportation Option that allows Guests to travel nonstop between the four theme parks. You are dropped off inside the main gates of the theme parks so you bypass the lines at the main gates. This is an AMAZING service that lets you "hop" to your next theme park and closer to the magic super fast! There is an additional fee for this service but it is worth it for days you plan to park hop.

Disney FastPass+ Service is also one of my favorite ways to maximize magic during my visits. Each Guest is able to initially make three FastPass+ selections at one theme park. Once you have redeemed your final FastPass+ selection, you can make additional FastPass+ selections (one at a time). If you have the park hopper option, you can make a FastPass+ selection in another theme park. All FastPass+ selections are subject to availability and can be made at a FastPass+ kiosk or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
