Hi! Visiting in November and I have two questions for you: 1) Does the FastPass+ apply during special events, like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party; &, 2) for a senior citizen, what "quiet" areas would you recommend per theme park and Dow

    Hey Jennifer!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank for so much for bringing us your questions. You have picked a magical time of year to visit Walt Disney World. The holiday decorations in the parks and at the resorts will take your breath away.

Fastpasses are not available for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. However, I have been to the party several times and even on sold out nights I have never experienced long lines for attractions. Last year, the line for Space Mountain the night I attended was never over 20 minutes any time I passed by.

Regarding quiet places to relax in the parks, I 100% agree with Allison's recommendations. Even during the winter months there can be warm days where a little burst of air conditioning, such as the Hall of Presidents in the Magic Kingdom and the American Adventure in Epcot, can be a much needed respite. When viewing the nighttime spectaculars there are a couple places where you won't subject to the throng of people. The dessert parties in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot are special events which offer wonderful desserts and a great view of the fireworks without jockeying for a view.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
