    Hope from CA Asked

Hi! We are visiting in Nov with the Deluxe DDP. Since it comes with appetizers and the regular DDP does not, how do we let the waiters know or will they already be aware that the appetizers are included? Also, are there kid appetizers? Thanks!!!

    Hi Hope,

I "Hope" you are hungry because you are in for one delicious vacation!  My family splurged on purchasing the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan one year and I think we are still full.  For us the biggest advantage was being able to have a lot of two dining credit meals.  The Deluxe Dining Plan really is a special treat!

Have no worries about your servers knowing which dining plan you are using.  When dining at Table-Service restaurants the servers first ask if you are using the Disney Dining Plan when they come to your table.  If you are, then they will scan your Resort ID (MagicBand or card) and that will indicate to them which plan you have.  The servers will then review the Deluxe Dining Plan entitlements with you and answer any menu questions.  Everybody who has the Deluxe Dining Plan at Table-Service meals is entitled to one appetizer including children; however they must order from a child's menu if available.

Thank you for your question and please let us know if you have any further vacation planning questions, we are always happy to help!

Wishing you many delicious Disney dreams,
