    Dawn from IN Asked

We will be visiting next week. We anticipate getting to the resort around noon via DMExpress. If our room is not ready, is the Bell Station equipped to lock up a computer that we will have with us? If not, are most rooms available on a Thursday by 12:00

The official check-in time for most Disney World resorts is 3:00 p.m. Whether your room is ready prior to that depends on a number of factors -- but primarily what time of year you are traveling. I personally have had about 50/50 luck with getting into my room before 3:00. If you arrive before your room is ready, the Bell Services desk at the hotel can store your bags in a secure location. They will tag your luggage for you, give you a receipt, and take your bags to a locked storage room.

You obviously have to assess your own comfort level with leaving valuables in this situation. I can tell you that I have left my bags with Disney Bell Services dozens of times. I've had them store bags which included cameras, computers, ipods, and other gadgets. These items were always in perfect condition when I returned.
