If we are visiting with our newborn (will be 3 months at the time), do we need to bring a copy of her birth certificate or something to get her in for free? Do we need to go to guest services before entering the park?

    Hi, there!

Congratulations on your new addition, David. How exciting! There's nothing better than a new baby in the house. Well, I suppose the only thing better is a new baby and a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

I'm pleased to tell you that you don't need to provide any proof of your daughter's age. Keep that little darling's birth certificate at home; you have enough to pack! Since your daughter is under the age of 3, she may enter the theme parks and FastPass+ queues without question.

Traveling with a baby certainly requires some additional planning. Be sure to pack everything you need for a well-stocked diaper bag. I usually pack diapers, wipes, hand sanitizer, a change of clothes, a changing pad, Ziploc bags (these come in handy for all sorts of reasons), and bottles. You'll also want a stroller on hand. You're most welcome to baby-wear that little princess through the theme parks, but it can get awfully warm in July so a stroller will be a comfortable and possibly cooler place for your baby to rest.

Speaking of the Orlando heat, check out my best tips for keeping babies cool and content this summer. I hope you find them helpful!

Did you know there's a conveniently located Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks? The Baby Care Center is the perfect place for diaper changes, feedings, and a quiet break from pixie-dusted adventures.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, David. Please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with that sweet baby in tow!
