    Brandy from OH Asked

When visiting MK, how long should you allow for each "land"? What is the best way to use Fastpasses efficiently? Nervous about scheduling times. Trying to make our time efficient, especially for a child with Autism. Thanks!

Greetings Brandy, welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel from a fellow mom of an Autistic child.

Magic Kingdom park captivates my son on every visit, he just loves visiting and knows his way around now. To visit this theme park comfortably we try to break it down over a couple of days and try not to do too much for long periods. To visit each land with ease and breaks including restrooms and refreshments, I would plan for a good solid 90-minutes. But this too, depends on your family and their touring style.

Disney's FastPass+system really helps our family a lot. I love how I can show my son our FastPass+selections in My Disney Experience mobile app which to him resembles his 'daily schedule board'. May I offer you Disney's Services for Guests with Disabilities wherein you will find an extremely helpful downloadable resource called, "Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities". A lot of solid groundwork and research was put into this guide and it reminds me of a 'daily schedule board' which you can use to build a daily itinerary. I cannot say enough about this guide.

The Disney Parks Disability Access Service (DAS) also helps my family out. Once in any theme park visit Guest Relations near the main entrance to discuss this option for your child. Be sure to take all in your travel party with you to Guest Relations. This system provides a return time for attractions based on the current wait times and can be utilized in conjunction with the FastPass+system.

I hope this information is helpful, Brandy and we look forward to assisting you once again in the near future.
