Mom With Kids After Run

We are visiting in March 2011 and planning to see La Nuba. Our son will be 2 years old. Do you think he will be able to sit through the show? I am a dance teacher and he is always around the performing arts. Can he sit in our laps or will he need a ticket?

Hi, Esther! I'm a dance teacher, too, and I have four children of my own whom have endured many dance recitals, musical performances and ballets through the years. However, my three sons would not have been able to sit through a 90-minute performance without an intermission at the age of two. You, of course, know your son best, and La Nouba is a spell-binding performance. (I saw it without my children.)

However, the prices are steep (about $70-$120 per adult), and you wouldn't want to miss a minute of it! Your son is welcome to sit with you on your lap throughout the performance, but you must purchase a ticket for him at the child's price if you want him to have a separate seat. My recommendation is to consider a sitter for him for the evening and make it a parents' night out. A childcare specialist can be reserved through Kid's Nite Out by calling 407-828-0920. Amusez-vous! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
