    Linda from MI Asked

We are visiting the Magic Kingdom at Easter. Can anyone let me know what to expect for crowds? We have always visited on off months...feeling a little anxious about this attempt.

Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Linda.  Weather wise, spring is an excellent time of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.  The Florida heat and humidity have not yet set in.  Crowd wise, though, Easter and Spring Break can be as busy as Christmas and Thanksgiving.

My go to source for crowd calendars, easywdw.com, is showing crowd levels of nine out of ten for Easter week and the preceding week.  You may visit their site and look for their touring plan for each day to optimize your park visits.  Some theme parks are recommended over others on a selected day.  Their information is pretty accurate so I would follow their suggestions.

No need to feel anxious, though.  Just make sure you have your Fast Pass+ selections in place, along with your Advanced Dining Reservations, so you are able to enjoy all of your favorites on your trip.  You might want to consider some non-park days, too.  Crowded parks present a great opportunity to explore the resort hotels or to do some shopping at Downtown Disney.  Or, spend a day splashing around in the water parks or your hotel pool for some cool family fun.

Your Easter visit will be just as magical as your other visits.  Planning and patience are the key.  Happy Easter to you and your family.  Have a great vacation!
