We will visiting Magic Kingdom to celebrate our son’s 1st birthday I want to make it special, is there a character experience that I can book? With cake and balloons etc?

Congratulations Lucia! You have reached such an important milestone. I remember when my babes turned one, I felt like I had reached the peak of a mountain climb. Way to go!!

You have got the perfect idea with a magical celebration at the Most Magical Place on Earth. There are so many unique places to celebrate, but I think the most fun would be at a Character Dining Experience. For the littles, I highly recommend The Crystal Palace. Your son can celebrate with all of his friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood! After his meal, you all can ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and then greet Tigger and Pooh again (make sure to get a celebration button so that everyone knows he’s turning ONE)!

You can arrange a cake delivery to the restaurant by calling (407) WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). You can order a Mickey Celebration Cake the day of your reservation, or request a custom cake (as long as you call at least 72 hours in advance). When we celebrated my husband’s birthday in April, we had a custom Donald Duck carrot cake delivered to Trattoria Al Forno.

If you want balloons delivered to the restaurant, Disney Floral & Gifts are experts at creating magical memories! You can work with them to deliver a special surprise to the birthday boy. They are available seven days a week from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm EST at (407) WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438). If you want to pick balloons yourself, there are balloon vendors up and down Main Street, U.S.A.

Lucia, we love to help create magical memories, so if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. I wish you a magical celebration!
