    Karen from OR Asked

We'll be visiting in late April and we're interested in reserving the Sonoma Terrace Paint the Night Reception. We have a 2 year old, do we need to include him in our reservation or is he free like with getting into the parks?

Hi, Karen! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I am so excited that you are considering the Sonoma Terrace Paint the Night Reception. Delicious bites to eat, a refreshing beverage, a box of truffles to take home, and an amazing spot to view the dazzling Paint the Night Parade all translate into one positively perfect night! When you make your reservation for the reception, be sure to include your 2-year-old in your total number of Guests so they seat you at a table that can accommodate everyone in your party. When making your reservation, you will be prompted to provide the number of Guests who are adults, children age 3 through 9, and those age 2 and under. Children age 2 and under are free for this reception, but won’t receive their own plate of goodies or a beverage. They are welcome to share off your plate, however.

Keep in mind that advanced payment is required for the Sonoma Terrace Paint the Night Reception when you book. Since all the dining options for the Paint the Night Parade are proving to be very popular, I suggest making your reservation as soon as possible. Then when the magical day arrives, you can show up for your reservation 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for the parade. Check the entertainment schedule on the day you are in the parks to see exactly when the parade is scheduled that night.

I hope you have an amazing time watching the Paint the Night Parade at the Disneyland Resort!
