We are visiting 2/15/10 to 2/22/10 with 6 kids, we most likely would want to do 1 character meal only. What is the best option for us, the regular dining plan or the quick dining plan? What is the cost difference?

    Hi Jessica!

If you are only planning on the one table service meal then I would go with the quick service dining plan and pay for your character meal out of pocket. If you won't be eating at one table service restaurant each day, the basic meal plan won't be worth your money.

Currently the quick service plan costs $29.99 for ages 10 and older and $8.99 for kids 3-9. This plan includes two counter service meals and two snacks for each night of your package. Each person will also receive a refillable mug that can be used for unlimited refills at your resort. The mugs are approximately a thirteen dollar value each.

The basic dining plan that offers one table service, one quick service and one snack per night of your package has a current cost of $39.99 for adults and $10.99 for kids 3-9.

The price difference is $10 for adults and $2 for kids. The quick service plan has the added benefit of the refillable mug and an extra snack per person each day. You can use those extra snacks for muffins and danishes for a quick breakfast if you wish. We usually share our counter service meals at lunch which helps to stretch the credits to cover more meals.

I hope this helps! Have fun planning your vacation!
