Hi, Visiting from July 24th to August 7th and I know that during the July part of our trip the parks will be extremely busy. However I was wondering whether it calms down at the start of August or it is just at the end of August the crowds start to ease.

    Hi Jack ~

Your trip is just around the corner and I bet you are too excited to sleep already!

Typically, the crowd levels are still somewhat high until towards the end of August. That is when many colleges and schools in the northern part of the United States start again. However, it should not be as crowded as it is around the 4th of July and other U.S. holidays.

There are some things that you can do to reduce your wait time:

    * If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, take advantage of morning and evening Extra Magic Hours.
    * If you are eligible, make your Disney FastPass+ selections (FP+) prior to your trip.
    * Select your 3 "must dos" in the parks you are visiting and do those first.
    * Make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs). These can be made be made up to 180 days prior to your trip. You can make reservations through the link above or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
    * Unless you have ADRs, plan to eat lunch and dinner earlier than usual. This will help you avoid some of the crowds.
    * Bring your own water and snacks into the parks to avoid waiting in line for them.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We will be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
