    Ben from LA Asked

Visiting in January with wife for 3 days. we have non expiration tix with 4 days left on each. I assume these are still accepted?? do I still need magic bands and if so how do I link the NE tix w/out losing the NE days for future visits.

    Hi Ben,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

It sounds like you and your wife are in a similar situation that my husband and I were in recently. We had a few days left on old, non-expiring Walt Disney World tickets from years ago. I linked the tickets through my My Disney Experience account following the instructions for linking tickets, and it worked beautifully. As you go through the directions for linking tickets, you will find a link for adding an older ticket. You can follow the directions there, and if you need additional help or your tickets are older than the oldest you can link, call 407-939-4357 for assistance.

Our tickets were old enough that they were the thick paper kind instead of the plastic type given today. Once linked these would not work for admission to the theme parks or with the Disney FastPass+ system as they are a different technology than currently used, so if yours are that type, you will need to either exchange them for the plastic type or use a MagicBand. If you have any active MagicBands attached to your My Disney Experience account, these should work. As to the non-expiring option carrying on after you link the tickets, yes, any unused days left on your non-expiring ticket should remain after your next trip.

If you have any issues as you work through this process, I suggest that you call Disney's internet desk at 407-939-7765. A cast member there can help you work through your personal case and answer questions specifically about your situation.

Have a great time planning your magical vacation, Ben, and please do visit us again if you have any further questions!
