We're visiting Jan. 8-10, 2016 (2.5 days), 1st time visit for our 2 daughters, a tomboyish age 12 and a mature 8 not interested in meeting dressed-up Disney princesses. That said, what suggestions do you have for which parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot?

Hi Elizabeth! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question.
Your Disney vacation is just around the corner. How exciting! There is a lot you can do to have fun with your daughters at Disney Theme Parks. Disney offers many attractions and shows that they will enjoy.
At Magic Kingdom Park, I suggest traditional attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise and also some thrilling rides: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain.
If you are planning to go to Epcot, you can’t miss Mission: Space, Test Track Presented by Chevrolet, Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land. The World Showcase is also a “must-do”. There you will find pavilions representing different countries. Take some time to walk around the lagoon and try some delicious food at many great restaurant options. At night, you can watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, my favorite fireworks spectacle at WDW.
I would also consider visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I am sure your family will have a great day. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock’n Roller Coaster are my favorite attractions. Star Tours - The Adventure Continue, Star Wars Lauch Bay, Club Disney, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and Lights, Motors, Action!Extreme Stunt Show can be great options for your family to have lots of fun.
Hope this information helps your planning. Let us know if you have any further questions.
    Have a magical day!
