I will be visiting Feb. 4-7 with a 2.5 yo. Not much difference in price with the Contemporary and Grand Floridian garden views. We will only be visiting the MK. Which do you suggest? Thanks!

    Hi Christina,

I would vote for the Contemporary for your upcoming trip.  When traveling with a toddler, I rank convenience high on my list of priorities.  Given that you will be spending all of your park time at the Magic Kingdom, you cannot find a more convenient resort than the Contemporary.  You can walk to the park via a lovely walkway that should take no more than 5-7 minutes at a leisurely pace.  If you prefer, you can also hop on the monorail.  The Contemporary is home to, what I believe is, the quintessential character meal location, Chef Mickey's.  I bet your toddler will love having breakfast or dinner with Mickey and his pals right inside your resort.  The rooms at the Contemporary recently underwent a complete refurbishment, and are absolutely gorgeous.  The pool, lobby and other common areas are also spectacular.

The Grand Floridian is also a beautiful resort, and is conveniently located on the monorail line, which makes getting to Magic Kingdom very simple.  Either is a fabulous choice for your vacation.

    Have a wonderful trip!
