Hi we are going to be visiting from Feb8-15 and we have a breakfast Cape May Cafe on the 10th at 9:20 am. We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside..wondering what time we should leave the resort and the best way to get there. Thanks in advance!

Hi Krista! The Cape May Cafe is a wonderful choice for breakfast! The food is great, and it's generally less crowded than Chef Mickey's, which means you'll receive lots of quality time with Goofy and the other characters!

To reach the Cape May Cafe from the Port Orleans Riverside Resort, you have a few options. You can catch a boat or bus from Port Orleans to Downtown Disney and then hop on a bus to the Beach Club Resort from there. Because you'll have to wait for two different buses, you should allow at least an hour travel time. Be sure to check with the resort front desk the night before to confirm the time that transportation to Downtown Disney begins running. (It's generally 8:30 a.m.) Your other alternative is to take a bus to Epcot and then switch to a Beach Club bus, but this route may take a few minutes more.

If you don't want to wake up quite so early, you can catch a cab from the Port Orleans to the Beach Club -- it will have you there in 15 minutes or less. By the way, if you want to visit Epcot after your character breakfast, you can walk there from the Beach Club.

Hope you have a magical vacation! Come see us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
