We will be visiting Epcot on 11/29/09. Do you think it would be necessary to make dinner reservations in order to see the candlelit procession?

    Hi Cindy,

The Candlelight Processional is our favorite way to celebrate the holiday. It is simply breathtaking!

The show is open to all guests and you are not required to purchase a dining package in order to enjoy this amazing re-telling of the the first Christmas. The dinner package provides guests with a "ticket" to the seated area at the theater. The ticket does not guarantee any specific location and seats are first come. You will find many guests still line up a good deal before the entrance time in order to get a seat up front.

There is a separate line for guests without tickets and you are given entry to the seats once all the ticketed guests have been seated. There is no guarantee that seats will be available for non-ticketed guests, however you are able to stand on the walkway behind all of the seats and watch the show from there.  If you are planning on watching part of the show and moving on, I would skip the dinner package. If you are planning on enjoying the entire show, I would strongly encourage you to make a reservation for the dinner package. Not only do you get to enjoy a delicious meal at an Epcot restaraunt, you will be able to sit and enjoy the show.

Reservations can be made by calling 407-939-3463. Hope you enjoy the Processional!
