We are visiting DW in a few weeks for the first time (8/24-8/29+ arriv/dep days). I had mapped out itinerary, but am reading this site and reconsidering. We are visiting MK (twice), AK, Hollywood + water park. What days would you recommend for each?

    Hi Carla!

Congratulations on taking your 1st Walt Disney World vacation, with just a few short weeks to go I bet you are doing a happy dance right now!  Looking at your itinerary, I was wondering if you had considered visiting Epcot.  While Epcot is thought of as a more adult park at Walt Disney World, this is certainly not the case.  Epcot has lots of opportunities for some fun hands on learning and incredible attractions. Looking at your travel dates I assumed 8/24-8/29 are your actual full days visiting Walt Disney World so I will make your itinerary accordingly.  If that is not the case, please let me know!

    • 8/24 Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon 9am-7pm
    • 8/25 Epcot 9am-9pm or Explore your resort day
    • 8/26 Animal Kingdom 9am-5pm *Extra Magic Morning Hours at 8am**
    • 8/27 Magic Kingdom 9am-9pm
    • 8/28 Hollywood Studios 9am-6pm
    • 8/29 Magic Kingdom 9am-11pm *Extra Magic Morning Hours at 8am**
I always recommend to be at the parks at opening time, you will be able to ride more attractions while guests are still trickling through the gates.  Also, make sure that you utilize Disney's FastPass as much as possible.  Disney's FastPass is a free service to use and will help minimize your waits on popular attractions.  Lastly, Disney World is huge so it is impossible to see and do everything.  Make sure to take time to stop and soak in the magic because you never know when pixie dust will sprinkled you way.

I hope this helps with your planning, please let me know if you need anymore advice!

    Have a magical vacation!
