I am visiting FL during Easter week April 20-27. We plan on spending 2 days at WDW. Magic Kingdom is a must. We are wondering what other park is a must for 2 boys age 13 and 15 and girl age 8? Animal Kingdom or Epcot? Should we do a park hopper?

    Hi Monica,

If you are choosing between Disney's Animal Kingdom and Epcot for your second day in the parks, I would say that Epcot is probably the choice I would make considering the age of your children.  I have a son who is 11-years-old and he loves the thrill rides in Epcot's Future World, including Mission Space and Test Track.  Although it is not considered a thrill ride, Soarin' is also one of his all-time favorites.  I bet your kids would like these rides too as they are a big hit among the tween/teen crowd.

One park that you didn't mention but may want to consider is Disney's Hollywood Studios.  This is actually my son's favorite park at this stage of his life.  The Rock 'N Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Toy Story Mania are among his most-anticipated attractions.  You could always begin your second day in Epcot and then go over to Disney's Hollywood Studios that afternoon if you have park-hopper tickets.  However, since you will be visiting during Easter week, attendance at the parks will likely be high and you may not find time to do two parks in one day.  In that case, purchasing park-hopper tickets would be a waste.

By all means, ask your children which attractions they most want to experience and then choose your second day park based on that.

    Have fun!
