We are visiting DL and staying at the Grand Californian. The site won't let me look beyond January's hours; can you please advise on the opening hours for 5/6/7 February if possible? Also, tips for travelling with an 18 month old

    Hi Rachel!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am thrilled you will be vacationing to the Happiest Place on Earth while staying at my favorite hotel on property: Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. You will just love the convenience of being able to walk directly to your hotel from Disney California Adventure Park. When traveling with a toddler, we find this proximity priceless for easy trips to the room throughout the day.

Currently the Monthly Events Schedule is showing park hours as well as Extra Magic Hours for the dates of your travel. Make sure to also check out the Lunar New Year Celebration during your visit. This unique celebration offers tasty traditional dishes, complimentary crafts, and multicultural entertainment featuring some of your favorite Disney Characters.

With toddlers being so unique, my biggest tip is to not stray too far from their usual routine. My son loves napping in his stroller, while other children may need to nap in their hotel room. I also like to bring small snacks to fight off any hunger if we happen to be waiting for an attraction. When my son is rested and fed, we ALL have a more magical vacation! Keep in mind you can ride with your little one on any attraction that does not have a posted height requirement. Your tot will also love meeting Characters and jamming out at the Disney Junior Dance Party! Don't forget that Baby Care Centers are available at both theme parks for diaper changes, feedings, or just a little privacy.

I hope you have a delightful Disneyland Resort vacation!
