    Hi, Patrina!

I love summertime visits to “The Happiest Place on Earth,” and yours will be extra special since it’s your very first time at the Disneyland Resort!

Assuming you’ll be using 1-Park Per Day Tickets rather than Park Hopper Tickets, take a look at the attractions and shows offered at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Decide which park features most of your family's “must-dos” and spend Monday there, as Sundays are almost always busier. This will depend on the ages those in your party and what kind of attractions they’re drawn to. For example, if you have young children who want to experience Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight and the new Fantasy Faire opening this spring, then you might pick Disneyland Park as your top priority. However, if you’re more interested in the attractions and sights at Disney California Adventure Park, like California Screamin’ or Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land, then you may decide it takes priority instead.

On both days, enter the parks as early as you can. If there is a very popular attraction you want to experience, go directly there first. Use Disney FASTPASS Service when available, as it will reduce your time spent in queues. June is a popular month to visit the theme parks, so you’ll want to fit in as much magic as possible!

Please ask me more questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation, Patrina! I’m happy to help you make a more specific touring plan based on your individual needs.

    Wishing you magic,
