We will be visiting DisneyWorld late December, early January. My grandaughter will not enjoy her visit if she does not get into any of the water parks. What kind of temperatures can we expect?

    Hi Juliana,

While I completely understand your granddaughter's love of water parks (my son loves them too), I'm pretty sure she'll still love her trip to Walt Disney World and you for taking her:)

December and January are my favorite time of year to visit the parks.  The weather is sunny and cool...you're never uncomfortable.  The average high temperature in January is 71 degrees.  The average low temperature is 50 degrees.  However, I have been to the parks in December when the temperature has fallen into the 30s at night.   If you want to go to the water park the best time of day to take her would be noon to 1pm.  That's the hottest time of day here in Florida.

I'm hoping for a temporary heat wave when you arrive at Disney so your princess gets to do everything she wishes for.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a magical day!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
