    Laura from MI Asked

I will be visiting disneyworld in a few weeks with my 13 month old. Any tips on how to make it a fun and successful time? Any other words of wisdoms for our first trip? Thank you!!

    Hi Laura!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Mom's Panel with your question. First of all, I hope you know that you are in for the experience of a lifetime! This will be the beginning of many return visits, I'm sure, and many wonderful memories along the way. When planning your first visit, you may feel a little overwhelmed. Don't worry, though...even the most seasoned Disney traveler feels that way from time to time. Before long you will be very familiar with all Walt Disney World has to offer and excited to see and do more with every new vacation there.

Let me share with you a few things to get you off and running as you plan. First of all, create an account on My Disney Experience. Next, explore your options for Resorts, Advanced Dining Reservations and FastPass+ experiences and make your choices. Planning ahead in this way will help you think through every choice and make the most of every minute of your time once you arrive. When you enter your first Park, be sure to stop by Guest Services for a First-Time Visitor Celebration Button. And if you have any questions along the way, stop and ask a Cast Member. They are ready and willing to help Guests with anything they might need. All in all, get ready to experience fun and excitement--and magic--like you never have before. You are going to LOVE it!

    Have a wonderful day.
