We are visiting Disneyland with our toddler & grandparents using 2 day, 1 park per day tickets. On day 2, grandparents are taking baby to a character breakfast. Wondering if we can take their tickets to DCA to get a fast pass without them being there?

    Hi there, Mandi!

Thanks for stopping by with your great Disneyland Resort question. It sounds like you have a perfectly pixie-dusted family vacation in the works! I’m glad you plan to utilize Disney FASTPASS, a complimentary service that will help you spend less time waiting in line for popular attractions in the theme parks.

To get a FASTPASS, visit the distribution area for an attraction offering this service. Insert your valid admission ticket into the FASTPASS machine to obtain a receipt with your return time. Not all attractions offer FASTPASS service, but a list of those that do is available on disneyland.com and in the park guide maps at the resort. Your little one’s grandparents don’t have to be present for you to get them a FASTPASS for an attraction, but their theme park tickets have to have been scanned for theme park entry that day. So, if their character breakfast is first thing in the morning before they have entered the park, you won’t be able to obtain a FASTPASS for them.

You may want to check out Disney MaxPass, which adds even more convenience by allowing you to make Disney FASTPASS selections on your mobile device using the Disneyland app while you’re in the parks instead of physically visiting the FASTPASS distribution areas. Disney MaxPass is an optional upgrade that is currently available for $10 per day, per ticket.

I hope this helps, Mandi. Please visit us again with any other planning questions you have before you set off on your theme park adventure!

    Wishing you magic,
