I will be visiting Disneyland in September of this year. I wanted to know which rides will be closed for refurbishment. Thank you, Laura

Hi there, Laura, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you hEAR!

For a detailed list of Disneyland Resort hours, attractions scheduled for refurbishment, and showtimes, the Monthly Events Schedule & Calendar is updated within 6 weeks of your arrival date. So, I recommend stopping back around then to find out which attractions may be closed during your stay. Simply switch from the “Month View” to the “Day View” to find a list of attractions that are closed for refurbishment each day of your visit.

Since you’re arriving around the same time Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort began last year, there’s a chance you may get to experience Haunted Mansion Holiday, or, it could still be closed for refurbishment while final preparations are being made. Last year, Halloween Time began on Friday, September 13, so there’s a chance you may be able to experience some happy haunting, though Halloween Time dates haven’t yet been confirmed for 2020. I recommend keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for that announcement, which should come by mid-April.

I’m so excited for you to experience the new Avengers Campus, which is scheduled to open this summer! I can’t wait to check out the new Spider-Man experience, and the fun-sized foods at Pym Test Kitchen!

Please stop by with any additional planning questions, Laura… I’m all EARs!
