    Kelly from CA Asked

I am visiting Disneyland in June and wanted to buy an annual pass. I was wondering if the expiration date is set by the day you purchase the pass, or on the first day you use the pass. Didn't know if I should wait, or if I can plan ahead and buy now.

Howdy, Kelly! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's so exciting that your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner!

Purchasing an Annual Passport so you can enjoy the parks all year long sounds like an excellent idea. As you are probably aware, there are three Annual Passports to choose from each with different blockout dates and benefits. No matter which passport you choose, the 12 months of use does not begin until the day that you first use the Annual Passport to enter the parks. However, your payment will be processed immediately. If you are purchasing an Annual Passport only available to southern California residents living in ZIP codes 90000-96199, you can make monthly payments and those will begin immediately as well. So, if your budget allows, feel free to purchase your Annual Passport today so it's ready to use in June! Also, don't forget to link it to your Disneyland app.

I hope you have a marvelous time at the Happiest Place on Earth next month!
