We will be visiting the Disney World with a 3 year old. Some things under 3- are free while others say 3 and younger and lastly 3-9... Are 3 year olds free ?

    Hi, Lindsay!

Hooray for 3 years olds! What a fun age to visit Walt Disney World. Everything is so magical when you are 3. Make sure to take lots of pictures to remember this special age.

Children age 3-9 require a theme park ticket, and it is offered at a discounted rate. Once a child is 10, he/she is considered an adult when purchasing Walt Disney World theme park tickets. When purchasing your theme park tickets, you will see the age breakdown making it very easy to select and purchase tickets for your vacation.

For dining, the age range is the same, as there are kids menus and kids pricing for ages 3-9. Once kids reach age 3, they will also need their own FastPass+ reserved to enter the FastPass+ queue.

While it is not as much fun for the parents once our kids are 3 (wasn't FREE much more fun?) the kids love feeling all grown up getting to scan their tickets or MagicBands to enter the parks and the FastPass+ queues.

Have a great time in Walt Disney World and please say "HI" to Mickey Mouse for me!
