    Terry Asked

I am visiting Disney World the week of 9-14-14 thru 9-21-14. There will be 4 of us and we are staying off property, so can I still use a Magic Band and if so can I still assign a credit card to it for my purchases?

    Hi Terry,

MagicBands are available for purchase by guests staying at off-site resorts. You can purchase these at many Disney World locations. Prices can change, but currently they sell for $12.95, plus tax.

If you're an off-site guest, you can load your park admission ticket onto your Band for park entry. You can also use it to access your FastPass+ selections. Unfortunately, off-site guests cannot add charging privileges to their MagicBands, nor (obviously) can they access their hotel rooms.

If you'd prefer not purchase MagicBands, you can still enter the park and access your FP+ with your regular park admission ticket.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
