We are visiting Disney World this summer Tues-Thurs. Would you recommend selecting FastPasses during the morning hours or are lines generally manageable in the AM and I should save FP for the afternoon hours?

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this question to us!

I would not necessarily say that early morning lines are more manageable. We have arrived at some parks by park opening and found the wait for some rides already at over an hour. My family generally books Fast Pass+ selections back to back for morning hours. We will typically select a Fast Pass+ for 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon-1:00 p.m. or, after lunch from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. By booking earlier Fast Pass+ selections, we can make a fourth additional Fast Pass+ as soon as we have used our first three. Since we visit during the summer, we like to take an afternoon break to go back to the resort hotel and relax. We then head back to the parks for dinner and we do a ride or two after dinner.

Since we stay at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, we always book our Fast Pass+ selections 60 days in advance. Guests who are not staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel but have valid theme park tickets can make their Fast Pass+ selections 30 days in advance. Since your visit is coming up quite soon, I strongly encourage you to go ahead and make those Fast Pass+ selections. If you have not done so already, create a My Disney Experience account, link your theme park tickets, add guests to your Family & Friends list and make your Fast Pass+ selections.

Jennifer, when making those Fast Pass+ selections, check for the most popular rides first. Avatar Flight of Passage is amazing. If you can, be sure to use one of your Fast Pass+ selections for it - the lines have been super long!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
