We will be visiting Disney World in September with our almost 7-month old. If the temperatures are very hot that day, or if we need a nice quiet place for nap time, are we allowed to return to our resort and re-enter the same theme park later that day?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah! September is a great time to explore the parks and resorts, as the summer crowds have begun to die down and the weather cools off too. It will still be warm, but not nearly like the heat you'd find mid-summer. You're in for a great trip!

When my children were little, we used to leave the parks halfway through the day to head back to our resort for naptime. There is so much happening at night in the parks, but without that afternoon nap, as I'm sure you know, our kids were not going to make it for the evening. And since Disney makes transportation so easy from their resorts to the parks, you can easily hop on the Monorail, a bus or a water taxi (depending on which park and resort you're enjoying) to go back and take an afternoon break. Plus, Disney takes care of so many things for young families like yours. I have fond memories of sneaking away for a bit to the Baby Care Centers in the parks to snuggle with my little ones in our own private nursing room. It was so great to have that quiet, dimly lit space where we could escape the crowds and nurse. My husband and older daughter sometimes joined us in the main space, where they could watch Disney movies while I took my son into the nursing area. It was great that we could all cool off together and have some downtime right there in the parks!

If you do go back to your resort during the day, you can certainly re-enter that same day. If you have a Regular Ticket for one park per day, head back to the same park where you enjoyed the morning hours for some nighttime Disney magic. If you'd like to visit another park that night, you're able to do that if you chose the Park Hopper option for your tickets.

Have such fun planning your magical adventure, Sarah!
