Visiting Disney world in Orlando soon. Is there any night time sitter services available for when parents want to go out to the Boardwalk and restaurants for alone time without the kids?

    Hi Brinna,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My husband and I enjoy an adults-only evening out when we are on vacation at Walt Disney World. A visit to Disney's BoardWalk, with its amazing restaurants and fun entertainment, is a fabulous idea for one of these evenings. Luckily for parents, there are great childcare services available at Walt Disney World. Let me tell you about them.

My daughter very much enjoys a night at a Children's Activity Center at Walt Disney World. My husband and I laugh that she enjoys our nights out as much as we do! These centers are staffed by wonderful cast members and offer fun activities for children. There are four Children's Activity Center locations. Please see the link that I provided for more information. Children need to be 3 to 12 years old to attend Lilo's Playhouse at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Sandcastle Club at Disney's Beach Club Resort, and Simba's Cubhouse at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge; and 4 to 12 years old to attend Camp Dolphin at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.

If your child is too young for the Children's Activity Centers, or if you simply prefer, you can contact Kid's Nite Out for in-room babysitting. They can be found at, and can provide a babysitter to come to your resort room. We used this service when my daughter was very young, and she always enjoyed playing with the babysitters and the fun toys, crafts, and activities that they brought with them, tailored to her.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Brinna! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
