Hi! We are visiting Disney World in Nov. We are staying at Coronado and was thinking about trying the Maya Gril there the first day we arrive (midafternoon) after we visited the MK for the evening. Is it too risky to just show up and HOPE for open seats?

    Hi Kelly!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

In my opinion, it is always best to have a reservation in the system.  Advance Dining Reservations can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

That said, the Maya Grill is off the beaten path and most of the guests who dine there will be guests staying at Coronado Springs as opposed to guests staying somewhere else who made the trip to the Maya Grill.  Every time I have eaten there, the place has not been that full and walk-ups were accepted.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
