I am visiting Disney World March 3 to the 9th for our 6th trip we aren't sure if we should get the water park opp. on our park tickets .Can you tell me if you think it will be warm enough to swim , and do you think it will be very crowded at that time.

    Hi James,

I visited WDW last year during the week of March 12th.  We did visit Typhoon Lagoon.  It was pretty cold and we left after only an hour.  The water was heated to make it comfortable, but as soon as we got out of the water we were freezing.  We noticed that the park has a lot of overhead shading especially in the ride queue areas.  It the summer its great, but on chilly days its almost difficult to find direct sunshine.

My advice would be to check out the weather right before you leave and buy your tickets accordingly.  The weather in Florida can be very unpredictable and can change quickly.  We have been down there during weeks where we started out in sweatshirts and jeans and ended in tank tops and shorts.

By the way, you can also use the water park fun and more tickets at Disney Quest which is a ton of fun.

Best of luck for good weather.
