Hi we are visiting Disney World the last week of February and i'm wondering are the pools open and if so are they enjoyable even if it is cool out? Don't want to tell my kids it will be fine and fun to swim and then they are miserable. Thanks so mu

Hi Lindsay! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You must be so excited that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner! February can be such a nice time to visit the Theme Parks. Typically the crowds tend to be on the lower side but take note that if you are visiting during the Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend or during the Presidents Day break you may see an upswing in the crowds however they are usually quite manageable. Make sure to take advantage of FastPass+ for your favorite attractions and entertainment. You can pre-book your selections and this will allow you to save some time waiting in line!

The weather during February can be hit or miss. Sometimes it can be very warm and comfortable and then others the weather seems to dip down and it can become quite chilly. The good thing is that all of the pools throughout the Resort hotels are heated! My kids always love to swim even if the air temperature is on the cooler side. We just make sure to have extra towels to bundle them up. It always amazes me that kids don’t seem to mind if it is a bit cooler, they just want to swim!

I hope that you and your family have an #Unforgettable time!
