We are visiting Disney World January 21-27/12. I am wondering what type of clothing I should be packing. We have two children 7 & 9 and want to make sure we are comfortable. Also I am wondering about Downtown Disney - do you have to pay to go into p

Hi, Coralie! The average high in January is 72, and the average low is 48.  To accommodate these swings in temperatures, my family has found it best to dress in layers.  Layer up in the mornings and evenings and shed a layer during the day.  Of course, these are just averages.  I have been there during a cold snap and wished I had my winter coat and clothes.  I know it's not much help to say be prepared for several different scenarios, but that's really what you have to do.

Great news! Downtown Disney does not require any type of ticket at all.  It is a shopping and dining district that does not require any admission fee.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
