We are visiting Disney World in August and have 8am reservations for Hollywood and Vine. Our party has three young boys who love Star Wars. Can we queue for the Jedi training in the middle of breakfast while some of our party stay and continue eating?

    Hey, Tanith!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You must have a Force-sensitive child yearning to learn more about the Force who loves Disney Jr. There is no better experience than at Hollywood and Vine during Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine to meet these lovable characters before fighting the Dark Side.

Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple takes you to a galaxy far, far away for adventure, excitement, lightsabers, Sith Lords and Jedi victories. My 8-year-old son just battled a Sith Lord during this show and showed the Seventh Sister the power of the Light Side.

All members of you party must be present to be seated. Afterward, if one adult and the three padawan is ready to battle the Dark Side then head to the  Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple sign-up  at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. Each of the 20 daily shows takes around 30 younglings. If you have FastPass+ or dining reservations let the Cast Member know and request a training time that works with your plans.

Even though the show is about 25 minutes please budget 60 minutes. Parents do not need to accompany their children after they arrive at the pre-show location. A Jedi Master will lead them to the Temple. Ask a Jedi where the best viewing spot is at the show site. Being closer to the “Temple” training site will get you the best pictures and video.

Disney Dad Tip: During crowded seasons, these training spots will fill fast. Plan Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple for early to mid-afternoon to allow you to enjoy a morning of attractions and the ability to get more FastPass+ reservations for later in the day.

Tanith, may the Force be with you.
