Visiting Disney World in August and looking for suggestions on some great restaurants. I have booked Crystal Palace, Rain Forest Cafe, Coral Reef, 1900 Park fare and Boma. Looking for another 4 great restaurants. My children are preteen.

    Hi Craig!

Congratulations on your summer trip to Walt Disney World! I'm so glad to see that you're planning ahead and making sure that you've reserved some great dining experiences for your family to enjoy!

I LOVE dining at Walt Disney World. In fact, these days, our whole trip pretty much revolves around all the amazing dining experiences that we want to enjoy throughout our stay.

You've chosen some fantastic spots so far. Since my own children were just 9 and 12 on our most recent trip, I'm happy to share with you some of our favourite experiences as a family, that my kids look forward to and ask to return to repeatedly!

'Ohana is number one around here. The location is easy to get to from Magic Kingdom and you cannot beat the atmosphere and food.

Teppan Edo at Epcot's Japan pavilion is a definite favourite for my two. The meal is fresh, delicious and entertaining! A truly great and memorable family occasion.

Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano is another location that pleases everyone. With everything from pizza to pasta and even steak, it's a hit! Be sure the kids indulge in a Spaghetti and Meatball Cupcake!

Rounding out this family's list of favourites is Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Resort. It's great for dinner, but it's a super-duper HIT at breakfast time! Tonga Toast is the famous dish this location is known for ... and it's just an absolute "must-try" for all Disney fans! Give it a try ... you won't be sorry!

From one Canadian to another ... wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Craig!
I hope you'll visit me again soon!
