We are visiting disney orlanda the first week of May 2016 with our 4 year old granddaughter. We have purchased the Disney Dining package. Any tips on do's and don'ts utilizing the Dining Plan?

    HI Doris,
How exciting it must be that your magical vacation will be starting in only a couple of months. Ready?

Disney Dining Plans are an excellent way to manage your meal budget. They are also exclusively available for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel. The 2016 Disney Dining Plan gives you one Quick-Service Meal, one Table-Service Meal and one Snack, for each member of your party, per night of the length of your stay. It also gives you a Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mug per person which you can use at the self-service beverage locations in all Disney Resort hotels. The entitlements are all available right from check-in, and valid until midnight of the day you check-out. You can use them for breakfast, lunch or dinner, including some character meals and dinner shows. Table-Service Signature restaurants and dinner-shows will require two Table-Service entitlements so you should plan accordingly. Refer to your plan details for more information.

Most Table-Service restaurants are very popular and advanced reservations are highly recommended. You may do them up to 180 days in advance via the My Disney Experience mobile app, the Walt Disney World restaurants and reservations page, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. If there's an experience that you can't secure in advance, don't give up! Many guests will modify their plans up to a couple of days before, in order to avoid fees. You may want to note that gratuity is not included at Table-Service restaurants, so you should keep this in mind when planning your budget.

Now, the question is which restaurant will be your favorites? See you real soon!
