Visiting Disney in October with my family of 5. Kids ages 12, 8, 6. Want to all be in the same room. Looking at Family Suite in All Star Music or a room at Port Orleans Riverside. How do I find room layouts? Opinions on which to choose with my age kids?

    Hi Amy!

I use the book "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" for deciding the resort in which to stay for my upcoming trips because it not only lists the pros and cons of every resort, but it also provides a picture of the layout of every room type at each resort.

I think that the Family Suite at All Star Music or a Family Suite at the Art of Animation Resort would be your best best for your family. These rooms can sleep up to six people and have one queen bed, one sleeper sofa, two sleeper chairs, kitchenette and two full bathrooms. These rooms are spacious and offer plenty of living space for a large family.

Port Orleans is great, but the trundle bed is a bit small and may not be comfortable for even your six-year-old.

You can see the room layouts on a variety of sites online as well. I found a great plan of All Star Movies at pixiedust-travel dot com.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
