We are visiting Disney Oct 30 for my daughter's 4th bday Im debating on which hotel is best Animal Kingdom or Art of Animation Point of staying @ animal kingdom is for the view of the animals, if they wont be out often I would like to know b4 deciding

    Hi Vanessa!

Although I haven't stayed at the Art of Animation yet, everything I've seen and heard sounds like a fantastic place, and one I plan to stay at soon. But I have stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge a few times, and I can say your daughter will absolutely LOVE her time there. A selection of animals are out pretty much most of the time, although you'll find a wider variety at sunset, the evening, and early morning. In the middle of the day (i.e. heat), you may find some mostly hidden under the shade or someplace cool. There are 3 savannas: the Arusha, Sunset, and Uzima, each savanna having its own variety of animals. I can say with confidence that you won't be disappointed with a room with a savanna view. There are always animals lurking, and in the mornings you especially see a lot around feeding time (which was around 8am in the times we were there). In the evening, the resort also has an area you can view animals with night goggles. Cool huh?

So, give Animal Kingdom Lodge a try on your first trip, and make Art of Animation the very next trip.

Good Luck and have Tons of Fun!
