Hello!!! I am visiting Disney Land with my 9 year old son. I need to PUMP while at the park. I know there are private pumping rooms.... can my 9 year old son accompany me into the baby center? Or where can he sadly wait for me while I pump?

Greetings, Robyn! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.

You are correct that there are places for you to pump in the Baby Care Centers that are located in each park. You’ll be glad to know that your son can most certainly accompany you into the Baby Care Centers. He can stay with you, or hang out in the area that shows movies and cartoons. If he’d prefer to wait outside, he is welcome to do that as well and usually there are benches near the Baby Care Centers where he can wait for you. If you’ll be storing your milk, you may want to rent a locker inside whichever park you are enjoying that day to store your cooler and pump. If you’ll be park hopping, then I recommend renting a locker in the esplanade which is right outside the Disneyland Park gates.

For your mother and son trip, I suggest adding Disney MaxPass to your tickets if you haven’t already. This will allow you to select FASTPASSES from anywhere in the parks on the Disneyland app. It is an incredible time-saver! Also, consider downloading the free Play Disney Parks app to turn wait time into play time! There are interactive games in select attraction queues that are fun for the whole family. Your son might also enjoy earning badges and achievements in app for riding attractions throughout the parks.

I hope this information was helpful. Have a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
