Hi, I am visiting Disney in January and staying at the Disney Hilton at Disney Springs. We have early breakfast reservations at the Yacht Club and I am wondering if I will be able to walk to Disney Springs to then catch a bus to the Yacht club hotel?

    Hi Abigail,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your Walt Disney World vacation is almost here! I hope you’re having lots of fun counting down to your magical visit.

I love an early morning breakfast reservation – Mickey waffles are the perfect way to start a Disney day! I checked in with a Cast Member, who told me that buses start running from Disney Springs to the Walt Disney World Resort hotels at 10:00 a.m. I recommend giving yourself at least an hour door-to-door when using Disney Bus Transportation, so if your reservation is before 11:00 a.m., I recommend using a taxi, Uber, or Minnie Van Service between your hotel and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

Abigail, please check with a staff member at your resort when you arrive, as they know the transportation system and options very well and can help you determine the best way to get to your breakfast. Schedules are subject to change, and they will have the most up-to-date information.

Enjoy your meal at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and your stay in the Disney Springs area. I recently had the most delicious pineapple éclair at Amorette’s Patisserie, and I highly recommend a cup of coffee from Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company – they have a really cool machine that creates amazing Disney-themed latte art. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about new treats, shopping, and experiences at Disney Springs, and be sure to do lots of exploring!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
